Sarah Loverock

Sarah placed 9th in Canadian Idol last year! She had the entire Sunshine Coast voting for her and cheering her on. She is currently working on her music career and has a couple 3-song CDs out. Check her out on her myspace. We were looking for some promo shoots for Sarah and ventured to Sechelt.

Nikki and Ben's Wedding

Nikki and Ben were married at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort on July 21st. Guests came from far and wide to be with them to celebrate their wedding day!

The ceremony was very touching and emotional. There was not a dry eye in the house!

It was a rainy day, but we made the best of it and ventured out for a few shots with the umbrellas. After that it was time to enjoy the night with great food, drink and most importantly great company.

Darren and Danielle's Engagement

Last week, Darren and Danielle and I continued on Part 2 of our adventure since we were rained out half way through last time. We headed to the beach near Darren's dad's place. It was a fabulous location and we had some great fun in the sun.

They were great sports and are natural "posers"! :) Awesome job guys!

On Saturday evening Danielle, Darren, Gracie and I ventured out to Snickett Park to the beach in Sechelt. Gracie painted her toes for the occasion! She did a great job if I must say so myself.



How soooooo very precious she is! I was soooo impressed when I asked Gracie how old she is. She very confidently told me that she is 2 and a 1/2 years old. I'd say she gets asked that question quite a bit :)

Mike and Heidi

Yesterday Heidi, Mike and I ventured through the back alleys of Sechelt to find the urban shots we were looking for. The back alleys of Sechelt are a lot more colourful than people might think and make for some unique backgrounds in photos. Here are a few pictures from our session:

There was this great tree near the wall. The tree was covered with sap but Mike managed to find a spot.

The Seven Wonders of the lower Sunshine Coast Contest

The Coast Reporter is holding a contest finding the Seven most wonderous things about the Sunshine Coast and publishing the photo of the wonder in the paper each week. This week was week 4 and it's my photo!

It was taken at Chapman Creek and the lighting was sooo amazing! The light was peaking through the trees and lighting up the gnome carvings. There are a few carvings along the Chapman Creek trail starting at Brookman Park in Davis Bay just off the highway. The carvings were done by Terry Chapman over a decade ago now. Check out this week's paper for my photo!
